Peran Bidan Dalam Pencegahan Infeksi Saluran Reproduksi Melalui Pendekatan Promotif dan Preventif

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran bidan dalam pencegahan infeksi saluran reproduksi (ISR) melalui pendekatan promotif dan preventif, serta mengidentifikasi kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kesehatan reproduksi perempuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang dilakukan melalui studi pustaka terhadap sumber-sumber akademik terbaru berupa artikel ilmiah, buku, dan laporan resmi yang relevan. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran dan analisis dokumen yang berfokus pada praktik promotif, preventif, serta penerapan protokol pencegahan infeksi di berbagai konteks pelayanan kebidanan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan identifikasi tema, reduksi data, kategorisasi konsep, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bidan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan reproduksi, membentuk perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, serta memastikan kepatuhan terhadap protokol pencegahan infeksi, baik dalam konteks umum maupun spesifik seperti HIV dan COVID-19. Peran bidan juga terbukti memperkuat sistem kesehatan melalui edukasi berbasis komunitas dan penerapan pendekatan empatik yang sensitif terhadap budaya. Temuan ini memperkaya teori health promotion model dan community-based midwifery dengan menegaskan pentingnya integrasi peran edukatif bidan dalam kebijakan kesehatan publik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan bidan dan dukungan kebijakan berkelanjutan merupakan kunci dalam menekan angka infeksi reproduksi. Studi selanjutnya disarankan mengeksplorasi praktik pencegahan ISR berbasis partisipatif untuk memperkuat penerapan di lapangan.
