Integrasi RITME MANIS dalam Self-Management Penyandang Diabetes Melitus: Teknik Injeksi Insulin yang Aman dan Upaya Pencegahan Komplikasi

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular dengan beban tinggi dan risiko komplikasi serius, sementara kemampuan self-management penyandang diabetes, khususnya terkait teknik injeksi insulin dan pencegahan komplikasi, masih sering terbatas di tingkat pelayanan primer. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas program RITME MANIS sebagai model self-management berbasis keluarga dan komunitas dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penyandang diabetes melitus tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Dlingo II. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif pra-eksperimen one-group pretestposttest pada 30 penyandang diabetes yang tergabung dalam Prolanis. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pengetahuan mengenai lima pilar penatalaksanaan diabetes, prinsip RITME MANIS, dan pencegahan komplikasi, serta lembar observasi keterampilan teknik injeksi insulin yang aman. Intervensi dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan melalui edukasi kelompok, pelatihan praktik menggunakan media skema rotasi dan injection pad, diskusi terarah, konseling, serta pemantauan kesehatan berkala. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan proporsi peserta dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baik dari 70% menjadi 85% setelah intervensi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program RITME MANIS efektif memperkuat self-management, terutama pada aspek teknik injeksi insulin dan kewaspadaan terhadap komplikasi, serta berpotensi diimplementasikan secara operasional di layanan primer dengan keterbatasan sumber daya.
