Asuhan Keperawatan Pasien yang Mengalami Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK) dengan Pola Nafas Tidak Efektif di Ruang Melati RSD Balung Jember

Penyakit paru obstruktif kronik (PPOK) merupakan penyakit yang menyerang pernafasan sehingga terjadi sesak nafas, dapat ditandai dengan obstruksi jalan nafas yang buruk, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya penyempitan pada saluran pernafasan sehingga penderita mengalami sesak nafas. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dan memahami asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang mengalami PPOK dengan pola nafas tidak efektif di ruang Melati RSD Balung Jember. Metode Penelitian : studi kasus pada 2 klien yang mengalami Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kroni, yang dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2022, pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wa-wancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik serta studi dokumentasi. Pengkajian yang dil-akukan pada pasien 1 dan 2 didapatkan keluhan yang sama berupa sesak nafas, disertai batuk dan pada pemeriksaan fisik didapatkan suara nafas tambahan berupa wheezing. Diagnosis keperawatan yang muncul berupa pola nafas tidak efektif yang berhubungan dengan sumbatan jalan nafas. Tindakan keperawatan yang dilakukan adalah mempo-sisikan pasien semi fowler dan mengajarkan batuk efektif selama 3x24 jam, didapatkan hasil sesak nafas dan batuk berkurang. Kesimpulan : Asuhan keperawatan pada klien yang mengalami PPOK dengan masalah keperawatan pola nafas tidak efektif yang berhubungan sumbatan jalan nafas pada kedua klien teratasi Sebagian. Perawat memberikan edukasi kepada pasien dan keluarga tentang pemberian posisi semi fowler dan batuk efektif sebagai penatalaksanaan awal untuk mengurangi sesak dan batuk.
