Abstract

Perhutanan sosial ialah program yang saat ini mejadi salah satu fokus utama Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) Republik Indonesia. Perhutanan sosial sendiri memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat sekitar hutan. Program ini adalah penjabaran dari “Nawacita” yang diusung oleh kabinet kerja presiden Jokowi yang memiliki tiga pilar dalam pelaksanaannya, yaitu lahan, kesempatan berusaha, dan sumberdaya manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini Menggambarkan tanggapan masyarakat tentang adanya Kelompok Perhutanan Sosial Gapoktanhut Sabrang Mandiri di Desa Sabrang Kecamatan Ambulu Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan pada dasarnya pemenuhan minimum sebelum adanya progam dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Dan Kehutanan sangat berbeda jauh dengan sesudah adanya program dari kementerian lingkungan hidup dan kehutanan karena pemenuhan minimum saat ini sangat tercukupi. Disisi lain penolakan yang terjadi di Hutan Sabrang adalah petani merasa kurang aman dan takut kepada para oknum perhutani akan tetapi semenjak ada Kelompok Sosial Gapoktanhut dari program Kementerian dan Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan tidak ada yang berani berkuasa di wilayah hutan sabrang.
