Fenomena “Kuliah adalah Pengangguran dengan Gaya” Pada Konten Tiktok: Kajian Psiko - Sosiolinguistik

"Kuliah adalah Pengangguran dengan Gaya", yang pertama kali muncul di Twitter pada tahun 2023 dan menjadi perbincangan hangat di TikTok pada tahun 2024, adalah fenomena media sosial terbaru. Storytelling ini menunjukkan ketidakpastian generasi muda tentang pentingnya pendidikan tinggi di tengah perubahan pasar kerja. Untuk menganalisis fenomena ini, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psiko-sosiolinguistik. Pendekatan ini memadukan elemen linguistik, sosiologi, dan psikologi untuk memahami bagaimana pesan yang terkandung dalam cerita ini mempengaruhi persepsi individu dan struktur sosial. Data primer diperoleh dari analisis konten TikTok dan tanggapan pengguna, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur. Metode kualitatif deskriptif memungkinkan analisis menyeluruh makna di balik pernyataan "Kuliah adalah Pengangguran dengan Gaya." Hasil pada penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa konsep tentang pendidikan tinggi sama halnya dengan pengangguran dengan gaya. Sebagian orang menentang pernyataan tersebut dan berpendapat jika menggapai pendidikan hingga ke ranah perguruan tinggi merupakan suatu hal yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan softskill serta membangun relasi yang lebih luas.
