Abstract

Diabetes melitus (DM) adalah penyakit yang tidak dapat berjangkit. Terapi komplementer adalah pengembangan terapi tradisional, yang mencakup integrasi metode pengobatan modern dan bertujuan untuk mempengaruhi keharmonisan individu dari sudut pandang biologis, psikologis, dan spiritual. Beberapa hasil terapi terpadu ini telah lolos uji klinis dan dianggap setara dengan obat-obatan modern. Hal ini sesuai dengan pendekatan pengasuhan yang memandang manusia secara utuh dan mencakup aspek biologis, psikologis, sosial dan spiritual Penyakit ini memiliki tempat dengan kumpulan penyakit metabolik yang digambarkan oleh hiperglikemia kronis karena kelainan pada sekresi bergantungan pada insulin, sedangkan diabetes melitus tipe 2 tidak bergantungan pada insulin. Tujuan pada studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai masalah pada asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang mengalami Hiperglikemia dengan Ketidakstabilan Kadar Glukosa Dalam Darah di Kecamatan Kalisat. Metode yang digunakan yakni jenis terapi komplementer dari ramuan herbal. Hasil pada pasien hiperglikemia dengan perbandingan antara 2 klien didapatkan diagnosa yang sama yaitu ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa dalam darah. Kesimpulan yang bisa ditarik dari hasil studi kasus ini adalah asuhan keperawatan yang tepat akan membantu menyelesaikan masalah klien pada ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa dalam darah.
