Abstract

Hernia Nucleus Pulposus yaitu terdorongnya Nucleus Pulposus yang berada diantara ruas-ruas tulang belakang, ke arah belakang baik lurus maupun ke arah kanan atau kiri menekan sumsum tulang belakang atau serabut - serabut sarafnya, hal ini dapat memicu masalah keperawatan nyeri akut. Tujuan dari penulis Karya Tulis Ilmiah ini melakukan asuhan keperawatan pada klien HNP dengan nyeri akut di RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan study kasus, dengan 2 partisipan yang dilakukan selama 3 hari pada periode 13 Februari - 15 Februari 2023 dan 20 Februari - 22 Februari 2023 di RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso dengan implementasi Teknik relaksasi benson. Berdasarkan masalah keperawatan nyeri akut pada klien HNP menggunakan implementasi teknik relaksasi benson, dilakukan latihan sehari sekali dibantu perawat ataupun keluarga klien. Hal itu memperoleh hasil yang efektif dibuktikan dengan skala nyeri kedua klien menurun. Penulis karya tulis ilmiah menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Teknik relaksasi benson sangat efektif untuk mengatasi nyeri akut terutama pada klien Hernia Nucleus Pulposus
