Hubungan antara Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Bullying pada Remaja Di SMK Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sidodadi Kecamatan Tempurejo Kabupaten Jember.

Saat ini tidak sedikit remaja yang merasa tidak puas dengan citra tubuh yang dimiliki dan kemudian sengaja merubah bentuk tubuh dan wajah mereka agar sesuai dengan harapan. Citra tubuh yang terdistorsi berdampak pada perilaku bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara citra tubuh dengan perilaku bullying pada remaja. Desain penelitian korelasional. Populasinya adalah remaja berusia 16-19 tahun di Satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kelas 11 di Tempurejo Kabupaten Jember sebanyak 174. Penentuan sampel dengan rumus Slovin dan dibutuhkan sejumlah 121 responden. Teknik sampling menggunakan simple random sampling. Variabel prediktornya adalah citra tubuh, dan variabel responnya adalah bullying. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner development of the measure of the body image scale dan Child Adolescent Bullying Scale (CABS). Analisis data menggunakan spearmen rho dengan ketentuan α ≤ 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara citra tubuh dengan perilaku bullying (p= <0,000; r= -0,363). Arah hubungan negatif dengan kekuatan hubungan cukup. Remaja yang tidak puas dengan citra tubuh yang dimiliki berisiko mudah menjadi korban bullying oleh temannya. Oleh karena itu perlu kebijakan untuk melakukan upaya edukasi yang intensive untuk meningkatkan citra tubuh dan menurunkan kejadian bullying di sekolah.
